With the support of EAS funding, the Webware development team is working on a brand new information management software, which we are currently codenaming WDX. Compared to the current WebDesktop platform, the new information system will have a modern design and enhanced functionalities.
Webware OÜ develops and sells WebDesktop, an information and document management software, and provides support to users. We are a leader in our field in the Estonian market.
WebDesktop is an information management software that helps institutions and companies to create, process, store, archive and destroy information, including documents, digitally, in compliance with all the requirements of the legislation in this area and the needs of their customers.
WebDesktop got its start in 2002. and its functionality is flexible and powerful. After more than 21 years of operation, the need has arisen mainly for technological innovations, but also for occasional functional upgrades.
The project will be supported by the European Regional Development Fund through the EAS for a maximum amount of €305 242 20 cents, financed under the Union’s response to pandemic COVID-19. The EAS project will end on 31.08.2023.

With the new product, we will significantly increase the quality of service to existing customers and make one of the most well-known document management systems in Estonia attractive to the foreign market. The project will increase the competence of the staff involved in the development activities and the opportunities for recruiting new staff.
